The CSC-AAUP’s Annual Spring Meeting is planned for May 12, 2016, at the Graduate Club in New Haven from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This year’ s distinguished guest speaker will be James Sleeper, lecturer in Political Science at Yale University. His presentation will focus on timely issues: “Political Correctness’ in the 2015 Campus Controversies and the 2016 Presidential Campaigns: While the Constitution Protects Free Speech,a Civil Society Rightly Modulates It.”
This year’s George Lang Award will be presented to a Fairfield University faculty member. The Walter Brady Award will be presented to a member of the University of Connecticut Health Center’s administration.
The Graduate Club is located at 155 Elm Street in New Haven.
